The SSC GD Constable examination, which has garnered significant attention among aspirants, was originally scheduled for February 23, 2026. However, the new exam dates have been set from April 27 to May 30, 2026, and will be conducted in four phases.

In a bid to accommodate candidates, the commission has allowed them to select their preferred exam week between April 11 and April 15, 2026. However, it is important to note that submitting a preference does not guarantee allocation to the chosen week.

With over 25,000 vacancies announced for the SSC GD Constable recruitment, the stakes are high. The selection process will include a Computer-Based Test (CBT), a Physical Efficiency Test (PET), a Physical Standard Test (PST), and a medical examination.
