In a significant operation, Baramulla Police recovered approximately 1.7 kilograms of charas in the Chichilora area of Kunzer during a routine patrol on March 24. The police intercepted a suspicious vehicle, leading to the arrest of one suspect, while another managed to escape.

The driver of the vehicle, identified as Waheed Sultan, was found with 27 grams of charas in his possession. Following this, police conducted a search at the residence of the absconding suspect, where they discovered an additional 1.690 kilograms of charas powder.
